Excellent ammunition for training, or recreational shooting, these rounds are also subsonic. This means that you can fire these rounds without breaking the sound barrier, and can run these rounds through a suppressor for a very quiet day on the range. Oftentimes, if a subsonic round fired through a suppressor is quiet enough, the noisiest part of the process is actually the weapon’s internals clacking around as it ejects and cycles another cartridge.
