The Classic 103 Skinner is a long running, famous skinner. One of the early Buck designs, the curved belly aids in getting through thick layers while the narrow, turned-down point easily finishes up skinning tasks. Now offered with Buck's premium S35VN steel and green canvas Micarta handles, the 103 is unstoppable. Full tang construction, a finger guard integrated into the blade, a sure grip and leather sheath help make this knife one of the best options for working through multiple animals.

Micarta

Micarta is known for its strength and durability and is nearly impervious to weather, oils, and solvents, making it slip resistant in wet conditions.

Paul Bos Heat Treat

We are known for our blades. Buck Knives is a market leader in edge retention thanks to our steel selections and heat treat process pioneered by industry famous, Paul Bos, whose heat treating system has proven to be the best in the business. Each Blade is put through a rigorous heat treat process and quality performance test. It is then tempered to the appropriate Rockwell Hardness through a heating, freezing, and reheating system. This gives you longer edge life, ease of resharpening, and a blade that will not fail you.

Knife Made in the USA
