Entry level quality at best. These sticks are OK but illustrate why higher-end options are so much more expensive. The steps have good grip and the feet grip the tree trunk very well. The cam strap hanging setup is straight-forward but a little clunky compared to the cord & cleat system used by other brands. It's not a race up the tree, so this isn't a deal breaker. What is a deal breaker is the product, well...breaking. Somewhere around the 5th climb the lower tree feet on one of my sticks broke off. This is exciting when you're 15 feet off the ground in the dark. If these are all you can afford, go ahead and pull the trigger and start climbing. If you're in a position to spend more and are considering these because you aren't sure if you'll like climbing with sticks, opt for something better.
